I have spent too much money on gear (instruments, amps, pedals, etc...) in the past. i haven't bought anything new in a while, but that doesn't change the fact that I relish any chance to make use of it.
I joined a new band (my old friends, Mala Sangre) recently and this has given me a new reason to create a new guitar rig. The music is pretty heavy, so I am splitting the guitar's signal between an Ampeg SVT bass amp (for br00talz) and a Fender Hotrod Deville (for rawk). I played it at one show so far (with Limp Wrist in Rowland Heights last week) and it sounded pretty damn sweet to my ears. I've got some minor adjusting to do before it's up to par, but it's a more versitile rig than any of the others I've been using in the past.
